This round of recession started some time in 2007. That was the year I had been forced to take early retirement. When I started my journey into the employent world over 22 years ago, I thought that I was going to be working at a day job until I retire. Probably at that time, as naive as I was, job security was almost secured. But being at the mercy of the employer, you will never know when your service would no longer be needed.
After going through 3 recession during my entire working life, I come to realised that, you have to plan to retire as early as possible in order for you to live a more comfortable life. There is no such thing as a job security nowadays. Since global economy is in a cycle there will be good time and bad time. If we have not prepared ourselves to recieve this cycle of economic downturn, we should start to plan ahead for the next one.
For sure, as long as we are still alive, there is hope that the global economy will boom again. But of course, no one is really sure of when will that happen.
I am not an economist, I am just a plain old parent working from home after 22 years of being in the employment world. So, this new phase of my life is to make this blog as a blog for home business purpose. I know I can't sell this blog LOL, but, this blog content is going to be dedicated to ideas, reviews and anything on home business whether it is online or offline.
